Course Description
This course examines the rich history and culture of various West African countries including Senegal, Ghana and The Gambia - from Early Empires, to the slave ports shipping West Africans into the Americas, and their political and economic status today. The course will culminate in a 10 to 14-day travel tour to West Africa.
