Course Description
Not open to students with credit for GSS 3295. This tutorial provides students with the opportunity to critically examine the portrayal of African American men, women and children in American film through informal qualitative content analysis. In addition to viewing selected films, students will examine, question and evaluate histories, biographies, research data, articles, press clipping, film reviews, and other material relevant to specific topics.
