RESEARCH METHODS IN AMERICAN STUDIES
Course Description
Baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution. This course provides students with the analytical tools they will need to do interdisciplinary research in American Studies. We will examine a variety of approaches, methods, and theoretical perspectives, such as archival research, textual analysis, oral history, cultural studies, and theories of gender, race, ethnicity and sexuality. SPRING TERM ONLY.
