DOCUMENTING AMERICA: FILM ANALYSIS & PRACTICE

Course Description

Prerequisite: Open to Graduate students and qualified undergraduates (those who have completed a minimum of 96 undergraduate credits with an overall GPA of at least 3.2). Qualified undergraduates must contact the School of Graduate Studies for the required permission form. This course will use filmmaking by American filmmakers to explore cultural, historical, political and social developments in America. Students will create a pre-production outline for making their own short documentary film in an area of American Studies.
