Course Description
Prerequisite: Open to graduate students and qualified undergraduates (those who have completed a minimum of 96 undergraduate credits with an overall GPA of at least 3.2). Qualified undergraduates must contact the School of Graduate Studies for the required permission form. This course explores the transactional interplay of political, intellectual, and popular cultures of the 1960s, focusing on civil rights, student activism, the peace movement, and identity politics in the context of an emerging post-structural understanding of art, literature, history, and language.
