Course Description

Not open to students with credit for ANTH 2602. This course will explore the variation found, cross-culturally, in human language. Students will learn the characteristics of human language in both structure and usage. Special attention will be paid to the problems surrounding interethnic communication in pluralistic societies and applications in institutional settings.
