Course Description
Prerequisite: ARTV 2175 recommended but not required. Formerly titled Greek Art & Architecture. This course surveys the art of ancient Greece from its historical origins through the Hellenistic era. We will examine vase painting, sculpture, and architecture, as well as the mythological subjects and historical context that influenced the art.
