Course Description
Prerequisite: Not open to those with credit for GAH 2128. This course covers American art from the Colonial period to the present, with a focus on painting and sculpture. Emphasis is on styles and major artists such as Homer, Eakins, O'Keeffe, Pollock, and Warhol, as well as the historical and cultural context that influenced the art.
