Course Description

This course examines everyday objects for their sculptural possibilities, and as opportunities for design. While this is a studio course, with extensive opportunity for fabrication, prototyping, and hands-on problem solving, students will also engage in extensive reading, writing and research as a means of exploring the history of industrial design, and developing a critical response to contemporary design.
