Course Description
Basic taxonomy, physiology and ecology of microorganisms, and their influences on human life: air, water, soil and food contamination, and communicable diseases. Includes laboratory sessions for the demonstration of field sampling and laboratory analytical techniques. Intended for ENVL and PUBH majors.
