Course Description

Formerly titled Mediated Communication: Television. Students will gain an understanding of the relationship between aesthetic conventions of television and the technological and organizational practices of broadcast studio production. They will refine their understanding of communication theory by exploring the use of television as a channel for communicating information. Students will work in an all HD studio environment as well as in the field. This course will prepare student for the TV Community Partnership Internship course.
