Course Description

Not open to students with credit for COMM 2302. Formerly COMM 2302 Public Relations and Advertising Writing. This course is designed to provide advanced copywriting experience in the public relations/advertising field. Students will expand their knowledge of various formats and styles of public relations and advertising writing including press releases, media alerts, newsletters, annual reports, copy writing, etc. Each written piece will be developed to fit the needs of a specific client, institution, organization or company.
