Course Description

This course takes a practical view of victimology, including the history of how victims have been treated in our culture, how to measure and explain victims, addressing the impact of victimization, and a thorough discussion of the types of victimization, including sexual battery, child maltreatment, and crimes against the elderly. Current research will be discussed as it pertains to the Counseling field.
