SPECIAL POPULATIONS IN CRIMINAL JUSTICE

Course Description

This course provides a critical analysis of professionals, victims, and perpetrators in the criminal justice system who are women, LGBTQ+ persons, and individuals with perceived or diagnosed mental illness. Other special populations, including juveniles, the elderly, people experiencing homelessness, ethnic, religious minorities, immigrants and undocumented persons, and people with disabilities may be covered.
