Course Description

Prerequisite: Baccalaureate degree from accredited institution.Core course.This course will intensively examine major criminological theories from sociological, psychological, and biological perspectives, will analyze the logic and relationships of the theories, and will examine the current state of research in several theoretical traditions. Ethical and moral implications of policy areas suggested by the various research traditions will also be discussed.
