SEXUAL AND DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SERVICES

Course Description

Prerequisite: Baccalaureate degree from accredited institution. JUST elective.Sexual and domestic violence services play an important role in criminal justice. Advocates offer support, safety planning, and resources for victims/survivors, and work to raise awareness of interpersonal violence. This course explores the scope and history of that work, as well as corrections between victim services and other institutions.
