Course Description
Prerequisite: Baccalaureate degree from accredited institution.This course provides students with an overview of the workings of the judicial system. Students will learn about criminal and civil courts and the role they play interacting with other parts of the criminal justice system. The course will also review constitutional law and the importance of appellate courts in shaping criminal justice policy. Students will discuss the efficacy of different types of problem-solving courts.
