Course Description
Prerequisite: DANC 1400 with a grade of C or better and Permission of Instructor. Not open to Theatre, Music, and Dance majors and minors. Formerly titled Elementary/Intermediate Ballet. Training in ballet technique focusing on alignment, strength, flexibility, development of vocabulary, and articulation of the legs, feet and hips. Course work includes placing technique in historical and contemporary context. May be repeated three times for credit.
