Course Description
Prerequisite: DANC 1401 with a grade of C or better and Permission of Instructor. Open only to Theatre, Music, and Dance majors and minors. Formerly titled Elementary/Intermediate Ballet. Training in ballet technique focusing on alignment, strength, flexibility, development of vocabulary, and articulation of the legs, feet and hips. Course work includes placing technique in historical and contemporary context. May be repeated seven times for credit.
