Course Description

Prerequisite: DANC 2400 with a grade of C or better and Permission of Instructor. Not open to Theatre, Music, and Dance majors and minors. Course continues training from Ballet I, further expanding connections within ballet technique. Continued training in alignment, strength, flexibility, vocabulary, and articulation, with an increased emphasis on musical phrasing. Course work includes placing technique in historical and contemporary context. May be repeated three times for credit.
