Course Description
Students gain insights and hands-on experiences in Esports Event Management including but not limited to marketing, branding, sponsorship, venues and facility management, legal issues, safety requirements, global tournaments, finance, and more. Students will try their hand at shoutcasting during a live-stream event, monitoring the play of competing teams and/or posting on social media during tournaments. This class module coincides with the Stockton Esports Club event schedule to allow students to apply what they learn to a live esports event.
