Course Description

This course analyzes financial risks faced by financial institutions and introduces methods to measure and manage financial risks. Major financial risks include interest rate risk, credit risk, liquidity risk, foreign exchange risk, market risk, and operational risk. This course also reviews capital adequacy regulations that protect a financial institution against the insolvency risk.
