2-DIMENSIONAL DESIGN ON THE COMPUTER

Course Description

Not open to students with credit for ARTV 1161 or GAH 1262. Development of theoretical and practical understanding of the formal elements and principles or organization of 2-dimensional design using the computer as a tool. Aesthetic and creative problem solving will be emphasized through studio projects with computer graphics software applied to print and digital media, and critical analysis of the use of elements and principles of the visual language in class projects and in examples from art history and contemporary art.
