Course Description
Not open to those with credit for ARTV 1161 or ARTV 1164. The primary concern of the course will be to expand the students' abilities to express their world in terms of visual art and to improve their understanding of the obstacles and options that face them when drawing from their environment. Studio projects will involve the principles of two-dimensional organization of form and color through the study of the visual elements of art as they are now and have been employed by artists working in all styles and periods of history.
