Course Description
This course will emphasize how an ancient way of life and system of thought confronts the modern world and its current issues. Similar confrontations occur in other cultures and in other religions. Topics include: Medical Ethics, Mental Illness, Abortion, Addiction, Suicide, Triage, Aging Issues, Palliative Care, Hospice, Death & Dying, Saving a Life, Euthanasia, Materialism, Money, Beauty, Relationships, Family, Friends, Leadership, War Crimes, and other topics of current interest.
