Course Description
This course will compare and contrast popular and artistic representations of ancient Greco-Roman history, mythology, and culture as seen in original texts (all in English) and the modern medium of cinema. In particular, we will be examining the survival and reemergence of Classical culture in the 20th and 21st centuries.
