Course Description

In this course we will investigate the teachings and mandates of the Catholic Church on race and racism by examining the Catechism of the Catholic Church, papal encyclicals, and writings of Doctors of the Church. Topics in Critical Race Theory will be introduced. We will also discuss the concept of sainthood and learn about the saints of the continent of Africa.
