Course Description
Humor can be found in all of our life stories, even dark ones. This course invites you to practice using humor in your personal writing to establish voice and credibility, heighten narrative tension, and make sharp political and cultural commentary. You are encouraged to experiment with a variety of forms of creative nonfiction (from the memoir to the satirical essay) and to discover your own unique "funny voice."
