Course Description
The word "home" is among the most highly-charged in English, yet it is very difficult to define. It conjures up warm positive associations, usually. We will look at what "home" means to the homeless, to immigrants, to displaced persons, to deployed soldiers, and even to animals. Reading a variety of novels and literature can open up a space that encourages people to begin to understand what the word "home" may mean to others.
