LITERATURE OF GENOCIDE AND UPHEAVAL
Course Description
This course will examine literary representations of genocides and upheavals (Irish Starvation, Armenia, the Holocaust, Cultural Revolution, and Bosnia). Although these memoirs and novels cannot replace the study of history, they can enhance the study of these periods by providing another method of approaching the complexities of these catastrophes.
