Course Description
This course presents a conversation between the mind, as seen through the eyes of artists, and creative perception and action, as seen through the lens of science. We will examine portrayals of the human mind in impressionism, Surrealism, Abstract Impressionism, Asian and Oceanic art, stream-of-consciousness writing, and cognitive neuroscience.
