Course Description
Students stretch more than their hamstrings in this freshmen seminar. As they study yogic philosophy and tradition, they'll learn how this ancient practice can be used to improve health, to cultivate mindfulness, and to develop ethical principles. Students will read and write extensively in this course, but each class session also includes some aspect of physical practice, including asana, pranayama, and guided mediation.
