Course Description
This required laboratory is designed to accompany GEOL 2102 lecture. Students work with fossils, maps, rock types and the environmental indicators preserved in the stone to develop a sense of geologic history and its recognition and interpretation. Includes a weekend field trip to a special fossil collecting locality.
