Course Description
An introduction to and application of sedimentary and stratigraphic concepts in geologic laboratory and fieldwork. Relates sediment textures, types, and provenance determination to stratigraphic correlations. Stresses techniques of analysis of sedimentation, regions of deposition, and their geologic interpretation. Field trips and labs. Offered alternate years.
