INTERNATIONAL TOURISM & DEVELOPMENT

Course Description

This course will focus on tourism and development for a variety of tourism types: ecotourism, cruise ship tourist, destination resort tourism, movie tourism, indigenous people's tourism, timeshare tourism, art/music/market tourism and the associated development that comes with these choices. 1) Initial course work on campus; 2) approximate 7 day study tour abroad to one or more Caribbean islands.
