Course Description
This course provides an historical account of death and dying from the Victorian ear to present day America with a focus on how our culture has evolved. We will analyze, synthesize, and engage in a deep and thoughtful understanding of the role that society and medicine play in death, dying, and end-of-life care in the United States.
