Course Description

This is a freshman seminar. A study of conventional and alternate energy systems. The course explains how the technology of each system works, what the environmental effect of its use would be, and what technological and institutional problems exist. The advantages and drawbacks in selecting any of the systems are discussed. The course is designed to enable a broader spectrum of students to be involved in selecting the national energy policy.
