Course Description
The wonders of everyday chemistry will be analyzed through a series of thought-provoking questions and hands-on activities carried out at home and online. Scientific approaches to problem analysis and problem solving will be incorporated throughout the course. Though not an introductory chemistry equivalency, the course will introduce basic chemistry, including library search, critical reading, writing, and gathering of household chemicals and materials. Students will learn how chemistry affects all our lives and influences our society.
