Course Description
This course studies trees on a multidisciplinary and multilevel approach. An understanding of trees is furthered by the interaction of many disciplines (i.e., physiology, biology, physics, genetics, etc.). Basic theories of ecology, evolution, and physics, among others, will be discussed. A managerial backdrop will be used to ground discussions to demonstrate sensible use of our forest resource.Prerequisite: Not open to ENVL or BIOL majors.Recommended: High school biology.
