Course Description

Mountains and Mountaineering is a course designed to explore the history of mountaineering while learning about the geological processes that create and shape mountains. This course follows the evolution of mountaineering from civilization's initial perspectives on mountains to modern athletes and unclimbed routes. We will also explore the geological evolution of the world's most classic mountain ranges.
