Course Title

SENEGAL: A HISTORICAL AND CULTURAL ANALYSIS

Course Description

The purpose of this course is to examine the rich history and culture of Senegal in West Africa - from its Early Empire, to its use as a primary slave port shipping West Africans into the Americas, to its political and economic status today. The course will culminate in a study tour to Senegal.
