Course Description

This course is designed to assist students in developing an understanding of disability rights through discussion and analysis of laws that impact people with disabilities in the community and workplace. Students will identify key points in disability history and the changes in society that brought forth the need for stronger laws to protect people with disabilities. In this course, students will analyze current case law that is constantly modifying delivery of services, accommodations and access for individuals with disabilities. Students will explore the future of disability law and what can be done to continue moving toward an equitable and inclusive society.
