Course Title

SEXUAL ASSAULT: VICTIMS AND PERPETRATORS

Course Description

This course examines the nature, extent, and consequences of sexual assault. Students study sexual assault from victims' and perpetrators' perspectives. The various reactions to victims and perpetrators of sexual assault, including responses from the media, politicians, the criminal justice system, the medical community, and informal sources of social support, are also examined.
