Course Description

Refugees are a natural symptom of conflict within or between nations. In this course, the refugee experience will be investigated, with a particular focus on refugees of the Holocaust and other Genocides. This topic will be approached from a public perspective with a focus on individual experiences. A historical review of refugee policies and experiences will be used to build an understanding of this topic as contemporary concern.
