Course Description
Students will learn the basic skills necessary for the reading and writing of Egyptian hieroglyphs and historical linguistics. Through the study of language, this course will explore the culture of Ancient Egypt in the context of African and Levantine history as well as the importance of understanding different languages for historical study.
