Kitchen management doesn't require a culinary degree. Students will study and learn menu design. The steps in purchasing, receiving, and storage. The proper organization of a professional kitchen and kitchen staffing. Through tours and guest speakers, students will understand the use of specialized equipment, knife skills, cooking methods, and plate presentation. Students also will complete ServSafe Manager Training.
