HOSPITALITY AND TOURISM STUDY TOUR
Course Description
This course will provide students with an opportunity to learn about the operations of a cruise ship, including guest management, inventory management (food, supplies, etc.), and sustainability in the cruise industry (waste management, environmental impacts, community impacts at ports, etc.). Students will learn about tourism at the different ports, including the impacts of the cruise industry on the local economy, population and environment. Permission of Instructor Required.
