Course Description

This course provides a framework for students to develop the knowledge, skills, and dispositions required of leaders in 21st-century organizations. Students investigate leadership assumptions, behaviors, and goals while planning to enhance their leadership identity and effectiveness. Emphasis is placed on resilience, openness to differing perspectives, and the ability to question assumptions to foster growth and change. Using leadership self-assessments, case studies, literature reviews, group discussions, projects, and reflective inquiry, students examine leadership concepts, styles, traits, and behaviors. The course equips them to curate a personal leadership identity grounded in critical reflection and practical application.
