Course Description

This course emphasizes the need for leaders to recognize constant organizational change and develop skills to guide people through it effectively. Students examine strategies for leading complex, transformational changes in environments shaped by rapid global, technological, and social shifts. Complexity and ambiguity are addressed as the new normal. Through case studies, discussions, and self-reflection, students analyze concepts and strategies for leading in turbulent contexts. Topics include multi-perspective thinking, decision making, organizational design, group dynamics, communication, conflict management, negotiation, empowerment, coaching, ethical use of power, diversity, performance assessment, adaptive challenges, resilience, sustainability, work stress, and reflective inquiry. Students practice approaches that enhance their capacity to lead transformational change with confidence and adaptability.
