Course Description
Explores the art and science of shaping organizational culture for effective leadership. Drawing on seminal works such as Edgar Schein's Organizational Culture and Leadership and Cameron and Quinn's Diagnosing and Changing Organizational Culture, students will explore practical frameworks to assess and transform workplace dynamics. Through discussions, real-world case studies, and a hands-on project, students will analyze their own organization's culture and propose recommendations for change. The focus is on building adaptive, values-driven cultures that spark innovation and collaboration. By blending critical thinking with evidence-based strategies, this course prepares leaders to tackle complex cultural challenges in today's global workplaces with confidence and clarity. Students will review and critique recent dissertations involving culture and its transformation.
